Every few years some Disabled Organization or “Rights for the Disabled” Advocate tries to get noticed by their loud mouth on how to categorize people with physical limitations. These people say that We/Me don’t want to be called Special, Cripples, Handicapped, or any other word that you can make up. Recovering from a stroke requires lots of dedication and hard work. All brain injuries effects people differently; these are the exercises that helped me. First thing, don’t start with difficult exercises. It takes time to rewire and train the brain to do new tasks. Choose an exercise that you can do at least 3-5 times a day with many repetitions.
